Pinewood Derby

We won't go in to a lot of detail about Pinewood Derby but lets just say that winning the "Flat Tire" award couldn't have gone to a better sport: Dylan was actually excited to win the award because it meant he got a stack of chocolate donuts. And for a kid who loves chocolate, this was heaven. He couldn't wait to get home to eat them. He even shared a couple with us. What a nice guy. And he really was such a good sport about it. We were so proud of him.

I actually think it was a little harder on Joel. Bless his heart, he's a builder and one of the best I might add, so one would think he could build the winning car...but oh well...maybe next year.
